Make a Difference with Lifestars

We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable volunteers who are passionate about supporting children and helping them develop essential life skills. If you have experience working with children and want to make a positive impact in the community, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Lifestars Volunteer, you will support the delivery of our Life Skills Programme within local schools, helping children build confidence, resilience, communication skills, and other key skills for life. Commitment and hours are negotiable per needs of both the charity and applicant.

You may also have opportunity to assist with additional activities, events, and projects throughout the year as and when these arise.

Location: Local Schools & Community Settings – (plus optional ad hoc activities)
Time Commitment: Minimum 1 hour per week

Responsibilities include

  • Support the delivery of Lifestars life skills sessions in schools.
  • Engage positively with children and encourage participation.
  • Lead activities and workshops.
  • Act as a positive role model for young people.
  • Support occasional community events and ad hoc activities when available.
  • Provide feedback and observations to the Lifestars team where appropriate.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people – is preferred but not essential.
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and approachable personality.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable and committed individuals.
  • Passion for helping children reach their full potential.
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
